This tail spring assembly was stripped, polished and nickel
plated.
The existing bronze bushing was removed along
with the grease fitting.
A new Rulon bushing was machined and
installed. Rulon is a self-lubricating composite material that
is designed to operate grease-free under very harsh conditions with
a sevice life of more than 30 years.
